CLAYWOODSTONE is the ceramic studio of Heather Gabriel. Initially trained as a field geologist, she is drawn to broad vistas and the marks that time leaves behind. Her minimalist style of making allows for her to migrate with the seasons between a communal studio in Tucson, Arizona and an off grid camp in Palermo, Maine, collecting materials and inspiration along the way.

The newest work and one of kind series debut at a handful outdoor art fairs each year (schedule here).

Bonsai pots, made in collaboration with The Dandy Farmer, can be found here.

Galleries and shops include Madaras Gallery in Tucson, AZ; North Front Gallery in Kingston, NY; The Picket Fence in Ketchum, ID and online at the wonderfully curated Cedar Y Sand
