CLAYWOODSTONE is the ceramic studio and travelog of Heather Gabriel. Initially trained a field geologist, she is drawn to broad vistas and the marks that time leaves behind. Her minimalist, primitive style of making allows for her to migrate with the seasons between a communal studio in Tucson, Arizona and an off grid camp in Palermo, Maine, collecting materials and inspiration along the way.
